I believe the majority of us have tasted local favourite BBQ Satay and they love it. So how about satay flavoured potato chips?
Singapore’s very own Tiger Beer is launching nation’s first satay flavoured potato chips. They want to introduce a snack that pairs perfectly with an ice cold pint of Tiger Beer. The limited edition chips will only be available from 1 October 2018 to 1 November 2018. However, you won’t be able to purchase them like other local favour potato chip, namely: Hainanese Chicken Rice and Singapore Laksa. They will be giving out as a freebie with every purchase of a 10-pack set of Tiger Beer cans.
In fact, I hope they decided to change their mind and market the potato chip individually so that they can reach out to more audience.
How does it taste?
Seasoned with subtle notes of smokey goodness and cooked with a crunchy finish as reported by the press release.
And if you’re wondering why they settle for satay flavoured and not Tiger Beer favoured chips? Committed to champion Singapore’s local street food heritage is always Tiger Beer direction. So, they decided to infuse the iconic satay favoured into the potato chip for people to enjoy.
I can’t wait to get them to try it out on my own.
Where to get it?
In order not to miss out this deal, you can get them at major supermarkets and online grocers including FairPrice, Cold Storage, Giant Supermarkets, Sheng Siong, Redmart, honestbee and more.
